Scripture Focus:
“This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah…”
— Joshua 15:1 (KJV)
Devotional Thought:
Joshua 15 may look like a list of borders, but it is a record of fulfilled promise. God was not giving vague blessings. He was assigning specific inheritance. Judah received their portion first because God is a God of order and purpose.
Their land included Hebron, the place promised to Caleb. And even at about eighty-five years old, Caleb was still fighting, still believing, still claiming what God had spoken.
Victory brought territory.
Territory brought responsibility.
Conquest was not the end. It was the beginning of stewardship.
God does the same with us. He gives breakthroughs, answers prayers, and opens doors—but then He asks us to build, protect, and manage what He has placed in our hands.
This Week’s Faith Focus:
Don’t just celebrate the victory.
Prepare to steward the inheritance.
1 Reflection for the Week:
Am I ready to build and manage what God has already given me?
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for every victory and every door You open. Teach me not only to conquer, but to build. Help me steward my calling, my purpose, and my influence with wisdom and faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Weekly Challenge:
This week, ask God how to care for what He has already entrusted to you.
Victory starts the journey.
Stewardship defines it.
