11. Now They Know My Name

End of the Year | Entering a New Season

Scripture Focus:
“As Saul watched David going out to meet the Philistine, he said to Abner, ‘Whose son is that young man?’”
1 Samuel 17:55 (NIV)

Devotional Thought:
David had been in Saul’s palace before. He played the harp. He served quietly. He was seen—but not recognized.

After Goliath fell, everything changed.

Saul asked a strange question: “Whose son is this young man?”
Not because he had never seen David, but because David had just stepped into destiny.

This is how God works.
People may overlook you while you serve faithfully in silence. But when God’s moment comes, even familiar faces will ask, “Who is this?”

As this year ends, remember this truth:
You don’t need to announce yourself.
You don’t need to chase recognition.
Just keep facing your giants in faith.

When God elevates you, your life will speak for you.
